Math    We started the unit by identifying our strengths and weaknesses and setting up goals for this term on Google forms.We identified the real life application of statistics by newspaperhunting. Based on our findings we unpacked the unit andexplored the Global context, Key concept and related conceptsfor the unit in Google forms.We learned to identify the biased andrandom sample and did an activity where we segregateddifferent case studies based on random and biased selection.We solved a Tarsia puzzle on mean, median and mode ingroups. We started learning graphical representation of dataand learned to make back to back stem and leaf. By Nandini TyagiMYP 2B
Language andLiteratureOver the last two weeks, we analysed various text types such as images and videos related to sustainability and human impact on the planet using the key elements of Mise-en- scene. We also appeared for our formative assessment based on Mise-en-scene. Towards the end of this week, we were introduced to email writing.   By:Yashada Khanna MYP2A
Individuals & SocietiesWe rediscovered ourselves by reflecting on the essential values required to be a human. We researched the articles mentioned in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and gained a deeper understanding of each right and realized its importance in our lives. ScienceChemistry: In the last week, we did an activity wherein we worked in pairs to select different elements, researched on the basic information like symbol,  an atomic mass, atomic number of a chosen element and also worked out the number of protons, electrons and neutrons using the specific  information. We compared the physical properties of metals and non-metals with the help of examples. We prepared self-notes and learned more about metalloids. By: Yashada Khanna MYP 2A Biology: We started the unit ‘Evolution and Environment’,and discussed the Key concept, Related concept, Global context, Statement ofinquiry.We learned about different skills such as thinking andtransfer skills.Furthermore, we watched a video on evolution through which we learned different keywords, such asadaptation,development and struggle. We further investigated thedefinitions of these words to gain a deeper understanding of the unit of evolution. By: Ananya Anand MYP2D   Physics:We started our unit ‘Learning about Work and Waves’ with an activity, wherein we discussed in pairs about the different work, we do in our daily life and compared it with the ‘meaning of work’ in physics. Through this activity we learned about work done and how to calculate the same. We did a practical activity, using gravity as an energy source wherein we used lab apparatus to find the force acting upon different masses. Through this activity, we improved our critical thinking skills. Furthermore, we attempted guided research on the past and present uses of windmills which helped us to know about simple machines.  By- Aadil MYP2B    
Product DesignWe started our unit with a fun activity in which we used WordCloud and Padlet. We explored the tools and learned about them.Following this, we discussed Global context, Key concept, Related concept and SOI. Next, we decided on our groupsfor creating the product. Digital Design  We started our unit ‘Identities in developing global societies’ by mapping the command terms with each strand. We also inquired about the unit details and started to brainstorm about the design problem and different tools about the same. Language Acquisition  French: Over the last two weeks, we unpacked the unit, discussed the inquiry questions and created a statement of Inquiry after brainstorming in groups. We were then introduced to the unit with a fun activity, wherein we asked three classmates about their weekend activities and listed them in our notebooks. This helped us collaborate with our classmates andknow thenames of activities in French. Following this, we learned some new French verbs related to the unit. It was an interactive and engaging learning experience. By:Veer Pratap Singh MYP2A     Hindi: Emergent: In the last week, we set our goals for the term. We had a few dictations to recap and improve our spellings. We discussed the command terms and understood them. We all read the stories assigned to us which helped us improve our reading skills and expand our vocabulary. By:Tavanya Seth MYP 2B  Capable:Our first task in the unit “दुनियाकीफिक्र” was very interesting as we wrote various things that would make our world and country the best. These tasks were very interesting as we got to know about the various aspects that our world lacks. We also integrated our subject with technology like Hindi typing on an English keyboard.We started various apps in Microsoft like Microsoft Forms and Teams. Forms are used to first read an essay than answer the questions. Later, we started using Microsoft Teams which is really helpful we as a class could  work online.We hope that we continue with this technological integration.   Spanish: Phase 1:We started the unit ‘My free time’ and worked on the concept map of the unit, discussed the inquiry questions in class, and formed a statement of inquiry. We were introduced to the vocabulary related to the unit and appeared in a vocabulary test. We discussed the recreational and leisure activities, learned colloquial expressions, and were also given a text to read and comprehend the leisure activities of teenagers in Hispanic countries. We also integrated technology by creating a story using a web tool ‘Storyboard That’ and appeared for our formative assessment based on Criteria C & D spoken. By : Krishiv Mehndiratta (MYP 2B)       Phase 2: We discussed our prior knowledge of the vocabulary using a Venn diagram in which we wrote the activities done during the weekend, the activities that are done in a school day and the common activities we do every day. Visual ArtWe learned how to draw the interior of a room using a one-point perspective. The presentation on Surrealism gave us ideas, how we could add Surrealistic elements and use our creativity to create our masterpiece.  By: Khayatee Lath MYP2C  
DramaWe worked in groups to enhance our understanding of the Key concept, Related concept and Global context. We explored and developed a statement of inquiry for the unit. We engaged in‘follow the leader activity’ to focus on our communication skills as we had to infer the instructions given to us by the leader and express it through gestures.


MusicWe discussed the learning outcomes of the current unit. We learned about the geography, countries, landscapes and people of Africa. We explored Djembe techniques, formed a circle and started drumming together on the patterns guided by the teacher. Through this activity, we learned about three different sounds that were produced by hitting the drum at different places, namely Bass, Tone and Slap.  By:Ayushman Puri MYP2B
